Start your day with a rich and full-bodied coffee at District Bagel. We are proud to serve fresh and delicious coffee- come for an espresso, a café au lait, a traditional cappuccino (or iced) and even Mochaccino! Drink it in our café or to go!
Come by for our famous soup! Vegetable, Lentil or our soup of the day. Always fresh and naturally flavoured. We never add MSG or other additives. Having a busy day? You can also take our soup home as part of a healthy and hearty meal.
My sister who is about to die insisted she have one of your delicious creamy blintzes……she loved it!
I cannot say enough good things about Mount Royal Bagel. What stands out the most is their unique bagels, which have an extra special sweetness to them. I also love that they have 20 some odd variations, it never gets boring. I often go there for lunch, as they have delicious sandwiches (favorite is the bagel lox with homemade cream cheese) and also can't get enough of their vegan soups. They seem to have a different one each day! The only problem I would say is that I often have trouble deciding what to order with so many choices. Another bonus is that it's Kosher, so it allows me to meet certain friends there.

Best bagels in town: Incredible nice bagels, always fresh. Lost of variety, pumpernickel and carrot are the best. You can take home or have them prepared there. Lox and bagels incredible. People very friendly. They also have nice muffins and great gourmet cream cheese like the one with sun dried tomatoes and vanilla and honey.Kosher.

I went this week, and oh my,my let me tell you, their bagels are incredible! I did not know something as simple as a bagel could be so good. I went for lunch (spicy tuna melt on a multigrain bagel, with a bean and barley soup) but I ended up leaving with 2 dozen bagels, mostly sesame, some whole wheat and a few cinnamon, a tub of chive cream cheese and another of sundried tomato. My advice to you, if you don't go, you're seriously missing out.

Destination Bagel: A friend asked me to pick up bagels from here during a recent trip to Montreal. Stopped for breakfast, and found them very good … I had the sun dried tomato cream cheese which was FANTASTIC!!”

A perfect place for a perfect bagel. These bagels are hand crafted in the back of the store and they are just delicious. The service is great and they make a tasty flat bread which I bought several packages to bring home. Did not last long.

“…these are great wood fired bagels, and not just the bagels - someone is in the back working on cheese bagels (think a flaky cheesy croissant, chocolate and cinnamon babkas, motzah boards, lox and several varieties of house-made cream cheese spreads. There are a few tables to grab a nosh and a cup of coffee or a bowl of soup but this is really take out headquarters for the Sunday brunch set. It's kosher as well so it is closed on Jewish holidays and the Sabbath.
